Assignment at Indianapolis Power & Light Power Plant located in Petersburg, IN. Built schedules for scrubber upgrade, capital projects, maintenance outages and various other projects. Using Primavera (P6).

CONSULTANT: 04/08-05/09, Direct Energy, Paris, TX
Remotely buillt and updated turbine outage and inspection schedules for Direct Energy, Paris, TX and Direct Energy, Mission, TX. Built master power plant outage schedules for turbine, generator, balance of plant and control room work. Took raw work order data and converted to Microsoft Project. Added contractor schedules to master resource loaded schedule. Site visits during actual outages. Updated schedules daily.

CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULER: 02/08-04/08, Lurgi PSI/Panda Ethanol, Hereford, TX
Updated construction schedule daily using (P3). Created resource loaded schedules for tank and foundation remediation. Published weekly progress, earned value (EVM) and quantities report using Excel. Conducted daily contractor construction progress team meetings.

ETHANOL PLANT PLANNER/SCHEDULER: 07/07-12/07, Verasun Energy, Ft. Dodge, IA
Planned and scheduled multiple maintenance outages using resource loaded Microsoft Project schedules. Created work break down structure (WBS) for outage schedules. Outage schedules included critical path and resource loading. Converted work orders to Microsoft Project. Tracked change orders using Excel. Converted final schedules to Primavera (P5).

ENGINEERING/CAPITAL PROJECTS SCHEDULER: 05/06-06/07, AMEC Paragon, Houston, TX
Created, updated, analyzed and reported detailed engineering schedules for various oil & gas clients. Created detailed work breakdown structures (WBS). Resource loaded schedules as necessary. Cost and budget tracked in Excel and Oracle.

*SR ENGINEERING ASSISTANT – PROCESS ENGINEERING: 1988-1992, DOW Chemical
Scheduled process engineering capital projects using Primavera (P3), Open Plan and Microsoft Project. Performed final consistency checks on all outgoing and internal engineering packages. Checks included P&IDs, vessel specs, pump specs, pipe specs and relief device specs and sizing calculations. Responsible for scheduling, coordinating and supervising buildings and grounds upkeep and maintenance for multiple buildings. Provided end user and desktop support for PCs within engineering services. Performed software installations, hardware upgrades, trouble shooting and end user training. Moved up to better position.

*JOURNEYMAN PIPE FITTER: 1984-1988, DOW Chemical
Completed pipe fitter apprenticeship and tested out as journeyman. Installed and maintained piping systems in multiple chemical units. Measured, sketched, fabricated and installed pipe systems. Moved up to better position.

*PRODUCTION OPERATOR: 1980-1984, DOW Chemical
Production operator at two chemical units. Oversaw the production operation of a continuous process with a reactor, spin, dryer and separator unit. Production operator for a batch process with three reactors for multiple product blends. Sampled for quality and spec on all chemical products. Moved up to better position.

ROTATING EQUIPMENT TECH: 09/79-03/80, Petro Chem, DOW Chemical, Freeport, TX
Performed vibration measurement and analysis on pumps, turbines, fans and other rotating equipment.

UNITED STATES AIR FORCE: 1967-1979
Performed time and motion studies, manpower requirement studies, facilities studies and productivity measurement. Created manning documents for Major Air Commands and the Department of Defense.
